What size inverter do I need for load-shedding backup?
For WiFi, lights and a TV, a 3kW hybrid inverter with a 2.5kWh battery is usually enough. Larger homes running fridges, pumps and more appliances typically need a 5kW to 8kW inverter with 5 to 10kWh of battery storage. We size this properly during a free consultation.
Do you install grid-tied or backup-only systems?
Both. A hybrid inverter setup can run in backup-only mode, feed excess solar back through your existing supply, or operate as a full grid-tied system, depending on your municipality's rules and your goals.
Will I get a Certificate of Compliance for my solar system?
Yes. Our registered electricians handle the DB board integration and issue a CoC once the installation is complete and tested, which you'll need for insurance and any future property sale.
Why lithium (LiFePO4) batteries instead of lead-acid?
LiFePO4 batteries last significantly longer, handle deeper daily discharge without damage, and need far less maintenance than lead-acid alternatives — which usually makes them the better long-term value despite a higher upfront cost.
